Blue Cow Theatre is artist led, established as an actor’s profit-share in 2010, championing Tasmanian theatre makers and making a significant difference to the cultural landscape by producing quality Tasmanian theatre. Paddock to plate, pen to page, page to stage adding a rich layer of regional storytelling working with local presenters to deliver state-wide exceptional work for Tasmanian audiences. 

Blue Cow has become a lean, resilient, adaptive, collaborative company who values our role in the creative community. Our motivation is selfish, as artists we want to see our sector flourish, have reliable sustainable employment, to prepare, plan and enjoy great performances from both on and off the stage.

EXECUTIVE PRODUCER - LUCINDA TOYNBEE WILSON

Lucinda studied theatre at Charles Sturt University NSW before moving to the United States where she graduated in theatre directing from Oregon State University. Lucinda has worked as a creative producer for over 30 years in the USA, UK and Australia and moved to Tasmania in 2000. Lucinda has written and published a small short story series, has produced her own work to sell out audiences and hopes to finish her third script soon.

Between theatre roles she has held senior positions for the Alcorso Foundation, Festival of Voices, Ten Days on the Island and as well as working as a CCD consultant and advisor for local Councils and several Tasmania festivals. Lucinda has served on many boards including Theatre Council, Regional Arts and is currently on the MADE board. In her spare time she makes steampunk sculptures.
