Virus Vignettes

When the theatres closed and productions cancelled Blue Cow looked to other ways to support artists and create work. Virus Vignettes is a direct response to Covid and is a creative development project supported by the City of Hobart.

Working together Playwright Belinda Bradley, Director Mel King Designer Jill Monro and Actors Jeff Michel and Anna Kidd worked with Lucinda to develop a work designed to be performed on the street with social distancing.

What has been created is a physical theatre work telling a poignant story of being strangers and friends, waiting endlessly, not knowing, caring and sharing and the power of working together. Virus Vignettes is told with humour and reminds us all that there is hope in our humanity.
